Brett is the Founder and CTO of iPourIt. He single-handedly invented the iPourIt system, patented the technological features and began building what is known today as the nation’s leading self-serve beer and wine technology company. With his grassroots as a young CTO for a publicly-traded company and over 22 years of leading IT divisions, Brett’s experience and expertise covers everything related to business technology. From software development and systems engineering, all the way to executive management, Brett is certainly a renaissance man. Today, he uses those skills to continue advancing the iPourIt technology, while working with self serve locations to create new capabilities they would like to see.

Brett is a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of guy, and earned his education from the “College of Hard Knocks” and “Life Lessons”. He found his calling at a young age, and ever since then, has dedicated his life to developing innovative software and technological systems. Aside from technology, Brett also has a huge passion for brewing. He spends his time perfecting the process of all-grain brewing when he’s not in the office. His plan is to create his own label of unique all-grain brews just for fun.

A Few More Words About Me

I’m a devoted family man who’s been married to my amazing wife, Cherish, for 17 years. We have two children, Ainsley and Dallas, who mean absolutely everything to me. My family and I live in Lake Forest, California. Lake Forest has been my home for the last 30 years, and currently home to iPourIt’s headquarters.

Go-to Pour

Brett’s first go-to pour is a Napa Smith Organic IPA. He loves this IPA for its balance of smooth and creamy, yet bitter due to the citrus hops and malts. Also, it smells amazing. Next, his second pour would likely be Port Brewery’s Santa’s Little Helper for its coffee and cocoa aroma, along with the right amount of bitterness added from the hops.
