A Belgian Quad by recipe, but aging it in spirits barrels garners its own category: Central Coast Quad. A beer formulated to sit on the sweeter and malty side so that we could utilize it for blending. Turbinado brown sugar from Mexico and Belgian candi sugar add wonderful molasses flavors. It has a full body and lush texture with barrel expression all over this beer: toasted oak, coconut, leather and cigar tobacco.

Pollyanna Brewing Co. – Acclamation -- NITRO

This Belgian Golden Strong Ale is brewed with mostly Belgian pilsner malts and a whole bunch of Belgian candi sugar. We then added lots and lots of apricots because apricots are cool and Shakespeare called them an aphrodisiac in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” We’re not sure if that’s true or not, but if you look at them a certain way, they do look like a butt.

Our Chicago Pilsner. Brewed traditionally German, with a slightly American approach. All German hops and malts come together for an exceptionally clean, crisp pilsner. Our can features statues designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, a famous Chicago architect. These sculptures, also known as "Maid in the Mud", were located in the famous Midway Gardens in Chicago, Illinois.
