iPourIt Helps Entrepreneurs Embark on the American Dream

On Independence Day 2016, Nathan Monroe and Rob Mathisen will be realizing their American dream. Last week their new craft beer taproom, Pour Bros., had its grand opening in Peoria Heights, Illinois. With backgrounds in retail, the “brothers” have always been fans of craft beer. So when Nathan quit his day job, the pair took the plunge to become American entrepreneurs.

With fierce craft beer competition in the local area, Nathan and Rob knew they needed to differentiate their taproom. The solution was iPourIt’s innovative self-pour technology, which allows customers to self-serve their own beers by the ounce. A first in Central Illinois, their “beer wall” will have 16 taps featuring a rotating variety of craft beers that customers can pour to their liking. “It’s like nothing we have in the area,” Nathan told the Peoria Journal Star earlier this year.

What could be more American than beer? The freedom of choice. Customers love the ability to self-pour small samples of tasty craft beers before choosing their brew for the evening, and the Pour Bros. love the automated technology that tracks each serving back to a customer’s card that is either pre-loaded or automatically charged to their credit card.

iPourIt is proud to support Pour Bros. Craft Taproom and clients across the U.S.A. as they “tap” into innovative technologies to support their American dreams. “Nathan and Rob did their homework well in site selection, concept, self-serve technology, as well as their unique beer list,” remarked Darren Nicholson, VP, Sales and Marketing at iPourIt. “They are sure to be a success in Peoria Heights, and we’ll do whatever we can to help them fulfill their American dream.”
